Kuno Lite is our ultra-efficient model designed specifically for low-resource environments. At just 500MB in size, it can run on devices as modest as a Raspberry Pi Zero or entry-level smartphones, making AI accessible to communities with limited computing resources.

While more limited in scope than our flagship Kuno model, Kuno Lite excels at text processing in Hindi, English, and Tamil. It's perfect for educational applications, basic customer service, and community information systems that need to operate in areas with limited connectivity.

Kuno Lite has been deployed in over 50 rural schools across India, helping teachers create educational materials and assisting students with basic queries in their native language, even in areas with intermittent internet access.

Kuno Lite achieves its remarkable efficiency through our proprietary model compression techniques and architecture optimizations. We've distilled the essential capabilities of larger models into a compact form that maintains high performance for its target use cases.

The model uses quantized weights and pruned neural networks to reduce its memory footprint while preserving accuracy for common tasks. This approach allows it to run smoothly on devices that would typically struggle with AI workloads.

Despite its small size, Kuno Lite achieves 85% of the performance of models 10x its size on basic text processing tasks in its supported languages, making it an ideal solution for bringing AI to resource-constrained environments.
